Prosthetic Parity Passes Delaware House

The Delaware House of Representatives passed House Bill 76, “prosthetic parity” this week by an overwhelming 38-0 margin.  The bill would ensure that those who have lost limbs would be able to receive quality orthotic and prosthetic devices from private insurance companies at reimbursement rates equal to federal reimbursement rates for programs like Medicare and Medicaid.

House Bill 76 now goes to the Delaware Senate for consideration.
